IT Business Analyst

Are you an IT Business Analyst with seasoned experience in taking the lead role on projects and assignments to improve processes and systems? Our Corporate Information Technology Department is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work with a variety of business departments across the organization, in partnership with IT Project Managers and other key stakeholders, to identify systems requirements that will effectively support current and future business needs. We are looking for a self-directed, results-oriented team member who can readily adapt to multiple priorities and deliver consistent, quality work.

**STATUS**: Full Time, Term - up to 18 months

**HOURS OF WORK**:37.5 hours per week

**PAY RATE**:$49.00 per hour

This role will be working on site at our Stafford Centre location - 304 Stafford Dr N, Lethbridge, AB.

**What You Bring to the Table**

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration or Information Systems is required
- Preference will be given to applicants who have a Business Analysis Certification (e.g. CBAP), Business Process Management Certification, ITIL Certification, and/or Change Management Certification
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience, preferably in a large organization with diverse businessareas
- A strong customer-service focus and relationship-building skills that are collaborative, responsive and supportive
- Success working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of using best practice process and technical requirements gathering and documentation, completing gap analysis; modeling; and methodology development
- Ability to use a variety of stakeholder engagement tools including workshops, questionnaires, surveys, workflow storyboards, user cases, scenarios, etc.
- Strong business case documentation, scope documentation, process flows, integration maps and network infrastructure maps skills
- Supportive approach in assisting delivery teams as they develop, test, and deploy solutions
- Ability to review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted
- Experience defining and executing test cases
- Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated listening, verbal and written communication skills
