The position is primarily responsible for the installation and possible servicing of residential and commercial wastewater treatment systems. Technicians will work alongside experienced technicians to carry out various treatment responsibilities: installation, field servicing, sampling, troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting. Contractors must adhere to all internal and external company healthy and safety policies. The technician will act as a company ambassador to continually represent the Waterloo Biofilter brand.
**Requirements**:
- Experience with common hand/power tools
- Experience working with PVC pipe
- Ability to interpret and follow production schematics
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge required
- Clean Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G designation or greater), with a good driving record
- Must be willing to travel throughout Ontario, as travel is required for this position. There will also be periodic overnight stays. Mileage for own vehicle and accommodation will be paid.
- Available to work forty (40) hours per week
- Ability to lift seventy (70) pounds
- Comfortability working outside in all-season environments
**Salary**:$20-25/hour
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
