**Job Overview**:
Direct Courier Inc. is hiring reliable and dedicated _full-time _Class 5 and Class 3 Truck Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of building supplies, including skids, boxes, bundles, and pipes, to various locations in Calgary and the surrounding areas. Early morning start at 6am. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to timely deliveries, we’d love to have you on board

**Responsibilities**
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding deliveries and any potential issues.
- Assist in moving materials within the warehouse as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with dispatchers and customers.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
