**The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Permanent Accounts Receivable Administrator at our office in Winnipeg.
**Role and Responsibilities**
As our Account Receivable Administrator, you will report to the Controller and your duties will encompass but not be limited to the following for the Group of Companies:
- Accounts Receivable functions including:
Establish strong relationships with customers to ensure current Accounts Receivable are
collected timely
Preparation of customer invoices with efficiency and accuracy
Fulfilling customer requests for proof of delivery and other supporting documentation
necessary to receive payment
Making daily cash collection calls
Problem solve with customers and coworkers to reconcile accounts, and prepare invoice
adjustments as required
- Credit Functions including obtaining information from references and other credit agencies on prospective customers, establishing credit limits (in conjunction with the Supervisor), review of Equifax reports, ensuring credit limits are adhered to, and other credit duties as assigned.
- Other Duties:
Audit invoices for accuracy and proper coding prior to posting to the GL
Review invoices with errors and generate credit and re-bill invoices
Set-up auto rating of invoices in the Truckmate for Windows (TMW) system
Review and audit customer profiles to ensure terms are accurate and current
Prepare daily cash deposit
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate receivables or collections roles
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong aptitude in learning new technology tools
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize task and meet deadlines
