**Job Overview**
We need a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in our out-of-School care Program at Tiny Hoppers Summerside.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programming that aligns with FLIGHT and the interests of the children.
- Create a positive room environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Utilize effective strategies to engage children in various activities, including play-based learning.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Maintain organized classroom records, including attendance.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall experience for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and health and safety regulations.
- Commitment to driving the daycare van.

**Requirements**:

- **Level 2 or 3 **in Early Childhood Education is required.
- Experience working with children in a daycare setting is essential.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Proficiency in observations, planning and record keeping.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Passion for educating young children and fostering their growth through engaging activities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other educators.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
