Respect Client’s rights and adhere to confidentiality of our clients.

Ability to give instruction on life skills and social skills.

Recognize the need for counselling, emotional and physical difficulties, noting any changes.

Ability to communicate with clients, without prejudice, listening to what they have to say.

Help clients with Community, Cultural, Spiritual and Educational stimulus.

Help clients to foster confidence to advocate for themselves.

Transporting and accompanying clients to any recreation, groceries, family visits, etc.

Assisting in planning and preparation of meals, where applicable.

Required trainings are always kept current and up to date.

Able to effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $18.96 per hour

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cumberland, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
