We are currently hiring a **Deli Clerk/Cashier** who is passionate about food and customer service. If you take pride in cleanliness, quality, and helping others, we’d love to meet you.

**Position Details**:

- **Hourly Wage**: $18.00/hour
- **Hours**: 20 to 34 hours per week (part-time)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Slice deli meats with precision and care (up to 5 hours per shift).
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen and work area at all times.
- Cut and prep fresh ingredients including vegetables, meats, and cheeses.
- Handle all customer interactions at the cashier with a welcoming and positive attitude.
- Accurately complete transactions and assist with take-out and catering orders.
- Stock fridges, shelves, and workstations using **FIFO (First-In, First-Out)** to ensure freshness.
- Label and date all food items correctly; monitor expiry dates and rotate products.
- Merchandise deli cases and displays to highlight freshness and appeal.
- Support kitchen staff in prep tasks and ensure stations are ready for service.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with local health standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a deli, café, or food retail environment is a must(1-3 years)
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation, food handling procedures, and FIFO.
- Experienced is using meat slicers or willing to be trained.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 30 lbs.
