- **RDJ Bakeries Ltd**_ is currently looking for a Technical Specialist (I) to join our growing dayshift team.
**Job purpose**
Responsible to maintain, update and ensure consistent execution of technical documents for both internal and external customers.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Maintain the vendor approval program and its document control according to BRC guidelines.
- Create and Maintain Preliminary and final product specification aligned with different countries regulations.
- Communicate with vendor for changes and updates including shelf-life extension, change notification, policy implementation.
- Maintain the Organic program by collecting technical data, submitting 7.1 forms for new organic items, and submitting documents for annual organic certification.
- Maintain the QAS sheet to be provided customer.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in food industry.
- At least two (2) years of experience.
- Experience with MS Office, Excel & Powerpoint.
- Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Creativity.
- Ability to work around problems and come up with creative solutions.
- Ability to work with or without direct supervision.
- Orientation towards a continuous improvement culture.
**Working conditions**:
- Always work indoors.
- Work regular office hours, Monday to Friday.
- Straight shift work.
**Physical requirements**:
- Typing.
- Physical efforts (moderate)
- Sitting involved.
