**Responsibilities**
- Track, maintain and prepare all purchasing documents
- Organize documentation and accurately
- Matching of invoices to packing slips and purchase orders
- Update existing records and databases with the order details
- Buy needed product, control cost and overstock issues.
- Confirm or change orders by following up with supplies
- Track orders to ensure delivery is on time
- Monitor and update stock levels and purchasing needs
- Evaluate vendor prices and negotiate for better prices
- Prepare cost analysis
- Liaise with plant staff to ensure product arrive in good condition

**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years experience in related field
- Forklift experience an asset
- Purchasing and inventory experience an asset

**Other important Skills for Consideration**
- Strong Supply Chain Knowledge and it's procedures
- Proficient with MS Excel and its manipulation
- Experienced negotiating skills and market research skills
- Great organization skills, accurate and detail oriented
- Excellent written, verbal and teamwork skills
