**CHIROPRACTOR**

**Job Summary**

**Job Types**: Part-time /Full time

**Requirements**:
Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution is required.

Valid chiropractic license in the state of practice. Registration, in good standing, with the provincial regulatory body (College/Association).

An active license and liability insurance.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct an examination including postural assessment, range of motion tests, neurological and orthopedic examination, and palpation of joints and soft tissues
- Diagnose neuromuscular-skeletal disorders of the spinal column, pelvis, extremities and associated tissues
- Define and implement a treatment plan including spinal and joint adjustment or manipulations, soft tissue work and/or the use of complementary therapies such as electrotherapy, acupuncture, heat therapy and massage
- Communicate and collaborate with other health care professionals
- Refer patients to other health care professionals when appropriate.

**PSYCHOLOGISTS**

Trust Care Physiotherapy is seeking a clinical psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team of health providers. We deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services to the Edmonton area, including physical, vestibular, pediatric rehabilitation.

**Job Types**: Part-time / Casual

**Education and licensure**
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical (asset: counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology)
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment

**Applied experience**
- Conducting psychological assessments with adults and children for various goals, including treatment planning
- Developing and evaluating mental health programs is considered an asset
- Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods is considered an asset
- Interpret test results and diagnose a variety of present (or potential) mental, behavioural, and emotional disorders
- Plan therapeutic intervention programs and work with patients to plan a program of treatment
- Provide continued support to clients, monitor progress, and adjust care plans accordingly
- Provide therapeutic and supportive guidance during or following crises

**KINESIOLOGIST**

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Develop and implement individualized training programs for patients Create home exercise programs based on the individual you are working with and their condition. Go over exercises with patients using exercise equipment or assistive devices. Charting on all the patients you work with. Responsible for coordinating and monitoring flow of patients. Set up and maintain equipment, clean and maintain the physical therapy area provide support to patients during their physical therapy sessions. Communicate with the physiotherapist about concerns, progression, and regression of the patient.
