**We are hiring for a General Clerk/Cashier to work in various departments at our Lougheed PriceSmart Foods location in Burnaby, BC. Departments include grocery, front-end, and receiving.**
**Open morning availability is preferred.**
**24-40 hours per week.**
**You will be responsible for**:
- Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
- Operating a cash register.
- Sharing product knowledge with customers.
- Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
- Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
- Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
- Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
**You have**:
- A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
- A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
- Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
- Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
- Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (considered an asset).

**Compensation Details**:
$17.85 - $21.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
