**Job description**
Job Summary**:
- Must be flexible with work hours and available Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm**
- **Hours of work may vary from 30 - 40 hours a week**
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets safety standards at all times
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- **Required to have Early Childhood Education Level 2 or Level 3 certification ONLY**:
- **Required** **Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting**
- **Required to have recent Child Intervention Check, Criminal Record Check, and FIrst Aid/CPR**:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities in guiding and supervising children
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial
- Proficient in computer operation for educational purposes
- Excellent time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities effectively
