The Position:
This is a full-time, permanent position and will report to the Program Manager. You will work directly with participants to explore career goals, develop job readiness skills, and secure employment with inclusive employers who value diversity and accessibility in the workplace. You will also play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with employers, advocating for inclusion, and removing barriers to employment for individuals with disabilities.

Key Functions
- Facilitate group and individual employment readiness sessions
- Track and document participant progress towards employment goals.
- Act as an advocate for inclusion by addressing attitudinal barriers, work to remove stigmas attached to employment of people with disabilities
- Seek and attract inclusive employers and maintain professional relationships
- Coordinate placement details with participants, Program Supervisors and employers
- Collaborate with Program Supervisor’s and their teams, families, participant support networks, and funders to contribute to each participant’s program planning in respect to employment goals.
- Prepare employment assessments, placement reports, and monthly Placement Activity Reports
- Perform other job-related activities as required

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Career Development, Human Services, Adult Education, Human Resources, or possess 5+ years equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience successfully supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities; nonprofit sector experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, coaching and team building skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Collaborative and responsive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in volunteer engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required
- Clear Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check is required.
