**What You Bring to the Table**
- Strong knowledge of tree species, biology, pruning techniques, and industry standards
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certification or equivalent accreditation preferred
- Excellent climbing and rigging skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and agility to perform tree work at various heights and in challenging environments.
- Ability to operate and oversee the maintenance of various arborist equipment
- Proficient in project planning and organization
**About the Opportunity**
As an Arborist Field Supervisor at Seasonal Impact, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding our new division. You will lead a team of arborists and crew members, ensuring that all tree care operations are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your duties will include tree pruning, removal, planting, disease diagnosis, treatment, sales, business development activities, and process development. You will also provide expert advice to clients regarding tree care practices and recommend appropriate solutions for tree-related issues. This individual will be expected to perform other tasks when called upon that contribute to the success of the tree division of Seasonal Impact
- Supervise and lead a team of crew members, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and follow industry best practices
- Safely remove trees that endanger property or public safety using appropriate tools and methods.
- Mentor and train junior arborists in assessment techniques and disease management.
- Provide guidance and training to crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge in arboriculture
- Plan, organize, and schedule daily tasks, assigning responsibilities to crew members based on their skills and expertise
- Prune and trim trees to promote healthy growth, maintain structural integrity, and enhance aesthetics.
- Conduct business development activities such as networking, referrals, and client outreach.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inventories, schedules, reports, and client interactions
- Safely remove trees that are dead, diseased, or pose a hazard to people or property.
- Select appropriate tree species for specific locations, prepare planting sites, and plant trees according to best practices to ensure their long-term health and vitality.
- Maintain and inspect arboricultural equipment such as chainsaws, climbing gear, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Utilize specialized climbing techniques and rigging systems to access trees safely and perform pruning, removal, and maintenance tasks at various heights.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Arborist: 4 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
- ISA Certified Arborist (preferred)
