Payments Analyst

Lightspeed is seeking a collaborative, team-oriented and numbers-driven Payment Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. You will be responsible for analyzing payment rates by region and presenting key findings and recommendations to ensure profitability. We're seeking an organized, analytical and ambitious team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Analyze payments rates to ensure profitability on payment processing for Lightspeed merchants Globally.
- Analyze and identify revenue gaps within the Go-to-market payments sales funnel and underwriting process.
- Work closely with our Go-to-Market Teams to price business opportunities, considering and balancing the overall payments revenue goals.
- Provide support on various payments-related issues and ad hoc analysis. Contribute to the design of financial models, scenarios, and sensitivities for projects, as well as reporting requirements and interpreting results
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting completed work
- Build and maintain pricing and profitability models to support pricing optimization strategies that are tailored to LS customers and generate revenue.
- Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years experience in an administrative or analytical role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Stellar time management and organization skills
- Perfect written and spoken English
- Extensive communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple mandates under tight deadlines
- Comfortable in highly technical environments
- Resourceful, quick learner, detail-oriented and approachable

**Assets**
- Experience within the Payments industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
