Trees Cannabis is hiring a part time Supervisor to join our team at our location on Fifth St. Nanaimo. Trees is a cannabis retailer committed to sharing our passion for cannabis with our community.

This is a part time position with required availability evenings and weekends, and some days.

The Supervisor reports directly to the Store Manager and is responsible for running the daily operations of the store when scheduled as the shift supervisor. They assist the Customer Service & Sales Representatives and are regularly responsible for all facets of the CSSR role.

**About the Role Responsibilities**
- Ensures an exceptional customer experience through the execution of established service procedures and demonstrates a customer-centric culture that provides a positive experience for customers
- Works towards achievement of sales targets and provide guidance to team members in order to meet those targets
- Addresses any arising customer issues or concerns as they develop
- Enforces and upholds all relevant regulations, store operations, cash handling, and safe workplace policies
- Trains, supervises, and provides coaching for CSSRs
- Participates in merchandising, inventory counts, and organization activities
- Open and closes the store in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

**About You**
- You’re committed to superior customer service, maintaining a welcoming work environment, and building professional relationships with customers and co-workers
- You’re known for your communication skills, great judgement, and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour
- You have tons of retails sales & service experience and at least one year of previous supervisory experience in a retail environment
- You’re familiar with federal, provincial, and municipal cannabis regulations
- You have some experience with maintaining inventory and merchandising
- You have the ability and desire to work weekends and closing shifts
- Cannabis product knowledge is an asset through a desire to learn is more essential)

**Work Environment**

Supervisors work predominantly in customer facing roles interacting with the public. They participate in keeping the store clean, may need to occasionally use a ladder and will be required to lift objects of up to 22 kg. The role involves standing, bending at the waist, and walking back and forth for the duration of the shift.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $20.25 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Selling it Right Certification (preferred)
