MasTec Canada is currently looking for **experienced Construction Labourers** to work on a wind farm project.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Conduct general labor work such as: lifting, digging, spotting equipment, working in or near excavations, unloading materials, dewatering excavations, etc.
- Level earth to find grade specifications using rake, shovel, etc.

**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Telehandler and fall arrest/working at heights preferred
- Concrete experience is considered an asset but not required
- Previous experience of operating zoom booms, skid steers, rollers packers are an asset but not required

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and teamwork skills are required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required
- Valid safety tickets are assets but are not required
- Good hand-eye coordination is required
- Ability to follow instructions and make good decisions is required
- Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
- Must have experience in hand signals and radio communication
- Ability to handle emergency situations and manage work pressure and stress
- Must have an acute awareness of surroundings including under, above and around you
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Canada’s 6 Core Values
