The City of Medicine Hat is seeking labourers for the seasonal construction, maintenance and repair of asphalt, concrete and municipal infrastructure for the City Assets department. In this physically demanding role, you are able to operate outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time while adhering to all bylaws and regulations. Typical duties include the operation of basic hand and power tools, while following established safety procedures.

- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated sound judgement
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of Grade 12 or high school equivalency diploma, including the ability to carry out simple verbal and written instructions
- Class 3 Operator's license with airbrakes and an acceptable driving record with the ability to obtain a City of Medicine Hat driver's license
- ** This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and requires the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.**
