**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff/food runner to join our team in a fast-paced environment. As a vital part of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Your role will involve interacting with customers, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash transactions and manage cash register operations, ensuring accurate cash handling.
- make simple cocktails and pour beer
- run food orders to tables
- clean tables as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service.
