We’re looking for a Customer Service Associate to join the MCAN’s Treasury team
**Job Summary**:
The Customer Service Associate is the primary point of contact between the Deposit business and clients or agents, ensuring impeccable customer service by managing relationships, processing term deposits, and collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare daily client name reconciliation to bank statements.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Execute early redemptions, RSP transfer outs, and act as backup for estate redemptions and registrations.
- Support the onboarding of new agents.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Monitor deposit volumes and escalate irregularities.
- Support business continuity readiness and maintain front office procedures.
- Coordinate materials and liaise with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Train new team members and drive company values within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related role.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as CDIC, FCAC, FINTRAC, and PIPEDA.
- Experience with deposit operations and compliance is a plus.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software and financial systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
