- Connect with and develop helping relationships with individuals with disabilities.
- Work effectively with the individual(s) and their support team to help achieve their goals.
- Completion of daily documentation.
- Engage in co-regulation strategies using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, and C.A.R.E.
- Medication administration.
- Perform administrative, cleaning and meal preparation duties relating to the operation of the home.
- Participate in ongoing program development, staff supervision, evaluations, team meetings and training.
- Ensure the safety of all Person Served within the program.
- Effective communication with emergency professionals, supervisors, and support staff.

- Police Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Search (within the last 6 months)
- Children Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
- Standard First Aid with CPR
- Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
- Cultural Awareness training
- Medication administration training
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (more than 3 years driving experience in Alberta)
- Access to a reliable vehicle with Auto insurance of $2 million third-party liability coverage.
- Driver’s abstract (within the last 6 months)
- **Required experience**:_
- Directly supporting individuals with complex care needs
- Strong co-regulation skills.
- Computer skills.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong English skills are required.
- **Assets**:_
- C.A.R.E. training would be an asset.
- Experience working in a residential setting would be an asset.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training would be an asset.

(KM will be compensated based on travel)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
