**Summary**

We are seeking a Direct Support Worker in Edmonton who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will provide essential support that enables our clients to engage in home life, education, employment, and social activities, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering community involvement.
**Responsibilities**
- Primarily to provide overnight awake supports
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence
- Provide compassionate support in various settings including home and community environments
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for clients
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and care plans
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities
- Uphold the values and mission of Neighborhood Bridges in all interactions.
- **Qualifications**:

- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Commitment to complete mandatory training provided by Neighborhood Bridges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred experience in caregiving or social work environments
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus
- Commitment to promoting human rights and dignity for all individuals.

Pay: $16.50-$22.06 per hour
