Fortin's is a local, family owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. We supply automotive/industrial products, have a machine shop at our Airport Road location, and are a part of Home Hardware.

Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Vedder, and Abbotsford.

We are currently seeking an **energetic **and **self-motivated **individual to fill a full-time **Driver Dispatcher** position in Chilliwack.
- Skills, knowledge and abilities include (but not limited to):
- Coordinate our delivery drivers
- Arrange and prioritize pick-ups and deliveries
- Computer literate
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Contact customers on delivery status when necessary
- Act as a communications hub between the sales team and the driving team
- Able and willing to lift 50lbs
- Follow safe working procedures
- Order picking
- Data Entry
- Detail Oriented
- Organization skills
- Accountable, and able to hold others accountable
- Excellent Communication and Leadership skills

**What does the job look like?**

Our dispatcher picks parts to fill customer orders for both delivery and pickup. They coordinate our driving team for both local deliveries and warehouse pickups. They notify customers and our sales team if there are any issues with an order. They also assist with data entry among other things. Mainly picking and coordinating deliveries

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday. Must also be available for occasional Saturday work as needed.
