**Job Summary**
We are looking for a **Sales Representative** who will be responsible for driving sales and fostering long-term partnerships with restaurants, cafés, cleaning companies, and other commercial clients. You'll promote our wide range of **food products** and **janitorial supplies**, offering customized solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth in the Nova Scotia markets. This role requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to our customers.
**Responsibilities**
1. Client Development and Sales:
- Develop and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors in the foodservice industry.
- Identify new business opportunities within the province and other regions.
- Present and promote our food packaging products to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and quality.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as required.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and prospects to convert them into loyal customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
2. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Provide insights into customer needs and preferences to inform product strategies.
3. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored for food packaging retailers and distributors.
- Create detailed sales plans and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
4.Reporting and Coordination:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for management review.
5. Customer Support and Satisfaction:
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide product training and support to clients as needed.
- Build long-term partnerships by understanding and exceeding client expectations.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the foodservice, packaging, or related industries.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in technology sales or technical sales is preferred.
- Strong business development skills with a focus on outside sales strategies.
- Excellent account management capabilities, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
- Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing sales processes.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse client bases.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
