**Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager**
**Job Summary**:
As the Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our heavy-duty fleet vehicles and equipment, with a special emphasis on garbage industry. This position involves managing a team of skilled technicians, dispatchers and maintaining the lifecycle of our equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Team Management**:Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including shop and service supervisors.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Provide guidance and training to ensure high-quality workmanship.
**Maintenance Planning and Execution**:Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for a diverse range of heavy-duty equipment.
Coordinate and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
**Budget Management**:Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, addressing the specific needs of agricultural and construction equipment.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective strategies.
Source and negotiate with vendors for parts and services.
**Data Analysis and Reporting**:Utilize maintenance management software to track and analyze fleet and equipment performance.
Generate regular reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment status.
Identify trends and recommend improvements for optimal fleet and equipment performance.
**Equipment Life Cycle Management**:Develop and implement strategies to maximize the lifespan of trucks and trailers
Conduct regular assessments of equipment conditions and recommend replacement or refurbishment as needed.
Collaborate with procurement teams to source and integrate new equipment into the fleet.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Maintenance Manager, with a focus on heavy-duty fleets and diverse equipment.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles construction equipment, engines, and associated systems.
- Possession of a 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) or 421 (Heavy Equipment Technician) certification is an asset.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Willingness to travel and manage operations at multiple locations.

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
