**Principal Fonction**:
The work consists of ensuring the availability of supplies for a motorized equipment stockroom by restocking and by completing, if necessary, certain urgent purchases. The work also consists of carrying out, in the motorized equipment stockroom, reception tasks, distribution and storage of supplies tasks, as well as customer service task

**Schedule**:35h/weekly- Monday to Friday : 7h00 a.m to 3h00 p.m

**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish a stockpiling criteria for the supplies groups, following conditions of the market, of the production of packing, transport and storage.
- Propose to the supervisor the method of re-stocking of all supplies held in stockroom
- Recommend to supervisor the creation or adjustment of the parameters of re-stocking according to the records of use and information obtained from clients.
- Ensure the reception of parts of motorized equipment, unpack them and ensure that the deliveries correspond with the orders.
- Contact suppliers and other intervening parties in case of error or delay of deliveries
- Store motorized equipment parts following verification of usage; ensure the reconciliation of various data with the computerized management system.
- Deliver parts to counter or by mail; proceed with assembly, packing and shipping. Handle, on occasion, dangerous material containers and inform clients about the identification labels of these dangerous products
- Keep and check regularly the inventory; recommend the purchase of parts whose reserves have reached the established minimum.
- Assist clients at the service counter and ensure that the user’s need is clearly defined; check the budgetary availability of the goods, determine the conditions for packing and storing; consult catalogues, manual or computer inventory files to provide the supplies requested or to find the adequate substitutes
- Answer the telephone and give information regarding motorized equipment parts.
- Receive, from the computer system, customers’ requests; complete or correct them, as required. Ensure the availability of the supplies and proceed with their pickup, confirm with computer system the quantity remove
- Ensure the return of supplies to the stockroom, of operational supplies on consignment (reels, pallets, barrels, etc.): make necessary arrangements with supplier or other party.
- May be called upon, as necessary, to make purchases of consumer items following pre-negotiated agreements (open order), according to his delegation of power. Record the purchase transaction through data management system in place.
- May be called upon, as necessary, to make urgent purchases, following contractual agreements established by the purchasing agents of the local suppliers and from standard orders, in accordance with his delegation of powers, and may exceed this delegation subsequent to an authorization from his supervisor. Record the purchase transaction in the current data management system.
- Ensure, as required, the repair and maintenance of certain parts.
- Keep his work area orderly and clean.
- Use manual or motorized handling equipment.
- Use, as may be required, various office automation equipment to perform certain tasks related to the job, using appropriate programming.
- Undertake any other related duties.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**
- Possess a professional education diploma in the motorized equipment maintenance sector and have successfully completed 3 to 9 credits** in the field of purchasing.
- Possess two (2) years of experience in a job that permits the incumbent to become familiar with this line of work.
- Methods and practices used in a stockroom of motorized equipment; and Nature and usage of motorized equipment parts
- Knowledge in French and Arithmetic
- To consult catalogues of motorized equipment parts in French of English;
- To identify and sort motorized equipment parts; To prepare simple written documents; and Be tactful and courteous
** 1 credit represents 15 hours of collegial or university level courses. The credits of courses obtained within the program of the “Association Canadienne de gestion des achats (A.C.G.A.)” are recognized
