**Junior Solution Analyst**

The position of solution analyst, originally titled pricing analyst was created to fulfill a need for consistent and accurate pricing for our company. It has grown to include the management of our internal pricing systems and their connections to both our customers and our vendors.

**Responsibilities**:
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain the formatting and data of our price documents
- Assisting branches in linking their pricing data to product SKUs
- Maintain national pricing data
- Review and repair formula and VBA errors within price documents
- Inspect, verify, and normalize supplier costing data
- Assist with the communication of pricing data to our national vendors
- Assist with the implementation of new pricing systems
- Monitor pricing dataflows
- Train users on pricing platforms and their tools
- Review key data metrics to identify and fix errors or inaccuracies

Reserve Responsibilities
- Assist with procurement and population of product dataAssist with procurement and population of product data

**Skill and Qualifications**:
Required
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Excel including features and formulas
- Fundamental understanding of Visual Basic for Applications or a similar programming language
- Proficiency with PowerQuery and M query language
- Aptitude for learning new technology and software

Prefered
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Products (Power BI, Dataflows, Automate, PowerApps etc)
- Experience with Jira
- Exposure to SQL, MySQL, or Postgres database structures
- Understanding of DAX formula language
