**The Opportunity**

Responsible for supporting the execution of ESG strategies and initiatives across the organization and overseeing the collection, verification, and analysis of ESG metrics for public disclosure.

**The Role**
- Assist in execution of ESG strategies and initiatives across the organization.
- Owner of assigned Sustainability initiatives including utility, waste, fuel data collection.
- Gather, consolidate and analyze data that tracks the progress and performance of ESG metrics for public disclosure (i.e. sustainability report).
- Contribute to process improvements in data collection, calculations, and reporting.
- Work closely with data providers to ensure quality and consistency of data.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders across all business units and departments through frequent collaboration.
- Support the development of the annual ESG report.
- Research, data analysis, peer benchmarking and participation for special projects as needed.
- Reporting, communications, training, and presentation development for internal audiences such as employees, management, and senior leadership.
- CSR initiatives such as coordinating community related fundraising events and supporting DE&I initiatives like ERG’s, mentoring, training; participation in related committees, groups, events etc.
- Support responses to customer ESG/Sustainability surveys and questionnaires.
- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree or above in sustainability, communications, business, sociology, engineering, environmental science, planning (or related field)
- **Work Experience**:2-3 years of professional experience and/or coursework focused on ESG frameworks and reporting, corporate social responsibility, communications, environmental management.
- **Knowledge**:excellent understanding of ESG disclosure frameworks, environmental regulations, safe operating practices in a distribution/service environment; high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or similar reporting, visualization, and analytical tools.
