**Job Overview**

Reporting to the Sales and Development Manager, as the **Marketing and Communications Coordinator **you are responsible to assist in the development and coordination of marketing strategies for the business unit, developing and fostering positive relationships with community stakeholders and coordinating community relations content and events.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the development and coordination of traditional marketing programs and advertising campaigns. Measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and promotional efforts.
- Collaborating with Sales and/or Senior Management to develop overall strategies and concepts for marketing and community relations. Coordinating and implementing brand strategy and the brands of each community development.
- Organizing the planning, design and installation of directional and promotional site signage for communities, overseeing enforcement of sign guidelines.
- Supporting content creation and design of traditional marketing materials. Preparing documents and coordinating print production, publishing and distribution as required.
- Acting as the primary contact for resident groups or associations. Overseeing communications and staying current on community issues and general topics.
- Planning and coordinating project/special events, including onsite event management.
- Maintaining inventory of marketing supplies and coordinating the preparation, review, production, print and distribution of marketing collateral.
- Conducting site visits ensuring signage and overall site appearance meet requirements.
- Marketing budget planning, tracking and participating in annual budget formation.
- Reviewing invoices and coding and expenditure tracking as required.

**Essential Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of marketing experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable using Content Management Systems (HubSpot, WordPress), Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Social Media channels (Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) and CRM system.

**Work Conditions**

You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Travel to sites and work outside of regular business hours may be required. Overtime may occasionally be required.
