Saskatoon, Canada Sonic Milling Systems Ltd. Full time

Sonic Milling has a patented technology that allows it to make outstanding Oat Based beverages. We are seeking a Processing Controls Technician with a strong background in instrumentation and PLCs to join our Saskatoon team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for operating and caring for plant processes and specialized equipment. The successful incumbent will guide operations personnel to optimize production runs; provide support to improve PLCs and Instrumentation controls in a mixture of batch and continuous closed system processes. Experience in a manufacturing plant preferably within the Aseptic Beverage industry is an asset. You must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplined team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a permanent full-time position based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The typical work week is Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm but additional hours and schedule flexibility will be required based upon the needs of the business.

**Qualifications**
- Electrical Engineering Technician, Control/Valves Technician or PLC Technician Certification
- 2 to 3 years’ experience
- Experience in the Beverage Industry (dairy, brewery, juice, soda, etc) is preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety compliance requirements is an asset.
- Ability to trouble shoot and operate specialized processing equipment.

**Salary**: $38.50 per hour
