Job Description

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Building Service Worker will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all building areas as well as meeting room setups and exercise equipment placement. The building includes a Fitness Centre, Child Care, Rooftop Garden, Administration area, Laundry facilities, and public meeting areas.
- Routine, manual light to heavy work and requires the ability to carry, pull, push, lift and move equipment, furniture and other objects throughout their daily routines.
- Other duties as required.

**What you’ll need**:

- Knowledge and experience in fitness centre and pool management is preferred.
- As this position requires substantial interaction with our members, good interpersonal skills are a must.
- A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
- The YWCA Metro Vancouver’s COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended and as a result, vaccination from COVID-19 is not required at this time. However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to be eligible to continue performing your duties.

**Pay Rate: $24.25 per hour.**
