The Department of Pediatrics at CHEO, University of Ottawa is recruiting a full time Rheumatologist within the Division of Dermatology and Rheumatology.

The Department of Pediatrics is affiliated with CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute and the University of Ottawa. Together, we provide outstanding patient care, leading research, and quality pediatric medical education. The Department of Pediatrics provides health care to newborns, children and youth of the Ottawa area, as well as those from Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, Nunavut and parts of Northern Ontario (population of approximately 1.8 million). The Department of Pediatrics has 18 distinct divisions, which includes Dermatology and Rheumatology.

The division covers the entire spectrum of rheumatic diseases including inflammatory arthritides, connective tissue diseases and systemic vasculitides. Several high end ultrasound machines are available for the exclusive use of the division at the point of care. The division is actively engaged in research and division members hold several national and international collaborative grants as principal investigators.
