**Job Summary**

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers as you professionally install, maintain and repair plumbing in their homes and/or commercial properties.

**Responsibilities**
- Represent our company in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call; you are a proud ambassador for our company.
- Educate and promote the value of our products, services and programs to customers on every call.
- Contribute to business growth by lead generation.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
- Install and repair various plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Assemble and weld piping systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and designs.
- Utilize power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects to ensure seamless integration of plumbing with other systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all service work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.

**Requirements**:

- Licensed Journeyperson (306A) or
- 2nd / 3rd Year Apprentice
- 3+ years plumbing experience
- Back Flow Certification (an asset)
- Well technician license (an asset)
- A valid driver’s license (mandatory)
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Be willing and able to work on call evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting up to shoulder height, frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather, or within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with plumbing installations.
- Basic carpentry skills are beneficial for completing related tasks on-site.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous for integrated system work.
- Knowledge of water treatment testing, servicing, installing and maintenance.

Pay: $26.91-$36.00 per hour
