**In-Home Respite Provider**

Your Way Support Services is a family-operated agency with over 30 years of experience providing support to children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to provide **in-home respite care from their own home** to children with special needs.

We are especially looking for caregivers with knowledge or experience supporting children on the autism spectrum. A supportive and structured home environment is essential for this role.

**Position Details**:

- Respite is provided in the caregiver’s home
- Daytime shifts available during the summer months, Monday - Friday.
- Afterschool hours and full days on non-instructional school days during the school year
- Care includes supporting daily routines, personal care, play, supervision, and promoting a safe, engaging environment
- Experience with autism or related disabilities is an asset

**We’re looking for individuals who**:

- Are patient, nurturing, and child-focused
- Have a safe, welcoming home environment
- Are dependable, consistent, and able to follow routines and care plans
- Can communicate well with families and the support team
- Are able to maintain clear boundaries and provide structured support

**Requirements**:

- Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (for all occupants of the home over 18)
- Valid CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Home must be **smoke-free** and safe for children. Regular in-home checks will be required.
- Must reside in **Morinville, St. Albert, Sturgeon County.**

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
