**About the Role**:
We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to provide technical and analytical support to the members of the Actuarial Servies team in areas including product pricing, financial reporting, dividend management, experience studies, reinsurance administration, strategic planning and capital adequacy testing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, analyze and review the integrity of source data used in the preparation of financial reporting, dividend management, strategic planning, risk management, asset liability management, in-force policy management, new business illustrations and capital adequacy testing.
- Conduct the quarterly actuarial valuation process and compile and analyze results for quarterly financial reporting.
- Provide technical actuarial assistance in developing product pricing for new and revised products to achieve a balance of competitive pricing and desirable profitability results.
- Conduct annual experience studies to assess emerging company experience in which to support the determination of various key actuarial assumptions for actuarial valuation and dividend management.
- Maintain the integrity of the actuarial software systems and reinsurance administration system and conduct validation on regular systems updates.

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Analytical and Mathematical Proficiency: strong aptitude for mathematics, actuarial concept & methodology and data analysis.
- Organization Skills and attentional to detail: ability to manage tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Communication Skills: ability to effectively communicate results, both verbally and in writing
- University degree in actuarial mathematics or a related field.
- 1-2 years’ actuarial experience in insurance and/or financial services.

**Nice to Haves**:

- Success in passing Canadian Institute of Actuaries and/or Society of Actuaries exams.
- Ability to become an expert in Moody's AXIS, Microsoft Excel, SQL and Microsoft Access.
