**Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate books on accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Process payroll in compliance with Quebec employment standards
- Prepare GST/HST filings and ensure compliance with requirements
- Assist with preparation of year-end financial statements
- Maintain organized financial records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
- Support customer service agent with A/R and communicate with customers
- Liaise with external accountants during audits or tax filing periods
- Respond to financial inquiries from management
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial records

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Accounting Technician or Bookkeeper or in a similar financial/accounting role
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
- Strong understanding of Canadian/Quebec accounting principles and CRA regulations
- Knowledge of GST/HST filing requirements
- Familiarity with Quebec payroll legislation and employment standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

**Education & Experience**:

- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field
- +2 years of bookkeeping experience (required)
- +2 years of QuickBooks Online (required)

**Pay**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
