Duties
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to engage and educate children through creative and interactive activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience in the field of childcare, infants and toddlers
- CPR and First Aid knowledge
- Up to date medical record
- Vulnerable Sector Record
- Quick decision-making skills and patience.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- Markham, ON L6B 0C6: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (required)
- Vulnerable Sector Check Report (required)
- Medical Report (required)
