UX Research Analyst

As a
**UX Research Analyst** you will systematically study target users to collect and analyze data that will help inform the product design process.

**Your day to day responsibilities will include**:

- Designing and conducting foundational, formative, and evaluative qualitative and quantitative user research - uncovering patterns, pain points, and opportunities to drive product innovation and customer success
- Identifying and implementing a variety of methods for getting input and feedback from customers across generative, evaluative & product research phases, including usability studies, remote-unmoderated and moderated studies, and others as appropriate
- Designing studies that address both user behavior and attitudes
- Using task analysis, service blueprinting and user research tasks to capture and help develop user requirements.
- Translating user research findings into strategic and tactical recommendations
- Comfortably articulating study findings confidently with clear impact analysis and meaningful recommendations to mixed audiences and stakeholders across product, design, business, technology, and operations.
- Frequently analyzing journeys and interactions on our website using Content Square to glean insights from user behavior and share opportunities
- Analyzing existing systems and understand the needs of the business/audience.
- Defining and analyzing analytics to generate meaningful usage insights.
- Building and documenting best practices for user research.
- Partnering with the UX Director on prioritizing research needs and executing research within accelerated project timelines and agile development cycles
- Bachelor's and 3+ years of experience in the study of research or related fields; for example, Information Architecture, Human Factors/HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences OR alternative equivalent project experience.
- End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
- Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills, (e.g., designing, conducting, and analyzing all kinds of user data)
- Confidence in selecting the most appropriate methods for a given problem or question
- Experience collaborating with teams of designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers throughout the product development process.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Excellent presentation skills for reporting both qualitative and quantitative data
- Strong project management skills with the ability to define, plan, and move projects forward.
- Understanding of the agile process and practices as it relates to UX.

- Demonstrate ability to discuss, understand, and negotiate user needs with a non-technical audience.
- Be an advocate for user research and insights across the company through knowledge sharing and educating on the customer experience through the lens of research
