At Well Vitality Health Clinic, we are dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward mental well-being. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled **Counsellor**to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients with a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct intake assessments and provide appropriate recommendations and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Offer psychoeducation to clients and the community on mental health and coping strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest research, techniques, and developments in psychology.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in a counselling related field (counselling psychology, social work with a focus on counselling).
- Registered or licensed with the appropriate regulatory body in Alberta.
- Proven experience in providing counselling or therapy services to individuals and groups.
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach to client care.
- Previous experience in [specific areas of expertise, e.g., trauma, children, couples, etc.] is a plus.
