**Diesel Electric Services, **a division of the Mansour Group is Canada’s only CN-recognized tier-one shop. Our specialized workforce provides support to customers in class 1 and the short-line railway industry. Our motive power team provides several services for locomotives and on-track equipment. We are currently looking for a Parts Specialist to join our team **A Parts Specialist Specializes in receiving goods and managing inventory.**
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Perform data entry within the inventory management system.
- Track inventory levels manually and with the help of the inventory management system.
- Being able to communicate parts information clearly with team members.
- Answering basic parts inquiries from the shop floor.
- Verify all orders received.
- Working closely with the program coordinator and purchaser to ensure that materials are acquired in a timely manner for ongoing projects.
- Aid mechanics and other team members.
- Act professionally and be responsive to requests and inquiries.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class G driver’s license.
- Knowledge of inventory management.
- General railway knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail is necessary.
- Strong professional communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Must be able to provide a clean driver abstract, criminal background check, and a drug & alcohol test.
