Key Qualifications:
- Be excellent in communication
Knowledge of Universal Scheduling is an asset
Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
- Basic knowledge of MVA, WSIB, and EHC
- Knowledge of Bookkeeping
Education Requires:
Diploma in PTA/OT
Kinesiology degree
Position Overview:
- Administration duties such as filing & others
- Booking Patients
- Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment and the clinic
- Inventory of clinical supplies
- Coordinate with Providers such as physiotherapist, psychologists, psychotherapist, OT, PTA
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
**Education**:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
**Experience**:
- therapist assistant: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- OTA/PTA diploma from an Ontario accredited program (required)
