Our tailored solutions improve service, rates, and speed to market, ensuring our clients' success. **Why You Should Join Us**: **Role Overview**: As a IT Support Analyst at Rome, you will be the first point of contact for all IT issues faced by our employees. Collaborating with the Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in updating and maintaining our infrastructure systems. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of internal management systems and webpages while providing valuable support through service calls. **Responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, striving for the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. - Administer and support workstations, wiring, printers, print servers, and network communication systems. - Deliver basic training to new users on network and standard software package usage, as well as provide support for user-specific issues. - Identify opportunities to improve hardware, software, and support resources through standardization. - Ensure optimal performance, cost, resilience, and effectiveness of client-side systems. - Track and log system problems in accordance with problem management procedures, participating in trend identification and root cause analysis. - Maintain client device security and participate in security compliance reviews. - Provide after-hours and weekend support as part of an "On-Call" rotation and travel to other Rome sites when necessary. - Offer backup support for the Systems Administration areas as required. - Maintain IT inventory and propose solutions for infrastructure problems. - Develop internal management systems and propose new solutions to maximize IT infrastructure effectiveness. **Requirements**: **Education**: - A post-secondary technology diploma specializing in computers, networking, or information systems, or equivalent experience. - Industry-standard certifications such as Cisco CCENT or equivalent, ITIL or equivalent. **Qualifications**: - Proficiency in Python programming language, CSS, JS. - Knowledge of Fortigate and virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM). - Familiarity with the Django Framework is desirable. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work well in a team environment and provide IT user support. - Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Willingness to travel to all Rome offices (Kitchener, London, Toronto) with own vehicle. - Knowledge of storage systems such as Freenas and HP. **Regular hours of operation**: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm - Rome Logistics Group is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
