Solar Technician

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Install solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to solar installations.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and bucket trucks safely during installation processes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
- Dig trenches for wiring installation as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any repairs or maintenance conducted.
**Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in low voltage systems preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components related to solar technology.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and bucket trucks.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for installation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: $28.79-$31.40 per hour
