Westcoast Water Treatment Systems Ltd. is a locally owned and managed company based out of Surrey, BC, serving British Columbia. We are an innovative and environmentally friendly organization with expert technicians that have decades of knowledge specializing in Water Treatment and Sediment Control.

We want to provide our customers with the peace of mind that they are in safe hands from the beginning of the project to the final demobilization, providing exceptional service as well as being environmentally conscious and complying with all rules and regulations.

With our deep knowledge of water chemistry, exceptional service, environmental consciousness, as well as understanding and compliance of applicable environmental regulations, we can engineer custom solutions for all your water treatment needs. We design, build, install and operate water treatment systems for processing contaminated water generated by construction and industrial activities. We have a large variety of water treatment equipment and outstanding team members that can remove a variety of contaminants from storm water and/or groundwater for discharge into any environment.
- Begin hands-on training at various client and construction sites
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced water treatment systems
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations
- Deliver exceptional service to our clients

**Responsibilities**:

- Check pH & turbidity levels to ensure they are within site requirements and take water samples as required.
- Comprehend filtration system drawings, calibrate probes, pH boxes, turbidity meters.
- Diagnose and repair systems & equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking of equipment in transit and on site.
- Be able to lift to 50 lbs., loading and unloading equipment from our trucks.
- Regularly communicate with Field Manager, Project Manager, and external clients pro-actively and complete daily field reports to ensure all internal departments are regularly updated.
- Demobilize equipment to send back to the warehouse upon completion of jobs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 2-3 years in erosion sediment control.
- **Direct Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years in water treatment.
- **Preferred Background**: Experience in construction, water management, or related industries is a plus.
- **Driver’s License**: Class 5 License with a good driving is a must

The workweek is Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Ability to work some overtime after hours or be on call on the weekends, especially during our rainy/busy season (September to April), is necessary. Must be willing to travel and working at remote locations.

**To Apply**:
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
