CTG is seeking to fill an **IT** **Field Technician **opening for our client in Montreal, Quebec.

**Location**: Montreal

**Duration**: 6 months

**Description**:
**IT Field Technician must have reliable transportation and will be required to travel to stores throughout all of Quebec.**
- We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technology Field Support Technician to join our dynamic team.
- The Technology Support Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems and assisting with technology-related projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide on-site technical support to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on client systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Document all support activities, including troubleshooting steps, solutions implemented, and client communications.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Technology Support Technician or similar role, with a strong background in providing technical support in a client-facing environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Solid understanding of computer systems, networking, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
