**Role Description**

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing production shift employees to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards. This role includes providing leadership, addressing performance issues, and driving the team toward meeting production goals.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Increase Productivity with accurate and efficient manufacturing processes, streamlining workflow, reducing downtime.
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise daily activities on the shop floor. Track daily work productions.
- Improve Quality/Processes by providing accurate routing and information required for manufacturing.
- Analyze Production Capacity to meet current and future demands, ensuring our resources are utilized effectively.
- Reviewing actual hours versus projected hours on work orders, ensuring that work orders are delivered in the allotted timeframe.
- Reviewing projected hours for each part, ensuring it is accurate
- making necessary adjustments if required.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks (Risk Management) in the manufacturing process
- Perform problem solving regarding purchasing, manufacturing issues, attendance and safety compliance.
- Coach workers into performing best practice regarding machining processes, employee etiquette, continuous improvement and safety responsibilities.
- Maintain knowledge of processes and machinery.
- Oversee the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s) and Set-up Sheet program.

**Education / Qualifications**:

- Journeyman Machinist. Leadership/ Supervisor training

**Relevant** **Experience**:

- 5+ years of Machining Experience (Both Turning and Milling knowledge preferred)
