You bring superb technical skills, can-do-attitude, and a passion for providing outstanding on-site customer service. You will be a front-line team member that oversees field operations and focuse on installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing electronic devices. Your strong organizational and time-management abilities allow you to always deliver an outstanding experience to our merchants. You will report to the Team Lead, Field Operations.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Efficiently troubleshoot problems related to multiple equipment and peripherals such as computers, printers, networks, cash registers and points-of-sale systems.
- Analyze problems and make recommendations to root causes and corrective actions and always ensure that our merchants are satisfied with the issue resolution.
- Install computers, printers, cash registers and points-of-sale systems and upgrade software.
- Build great relationships with our merchants by maintaining a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Maintain organization of tools, equipment, materials, the company vehicle and the workplace.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
- Post-secondary certificate in electronics, information technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
- Ability to test and solve problems related to computing and / or network and / or point of sale terminals (POS).
- Knowledge of computers, general networking concepts, internet usage, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Great interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and to handle calmly and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
- Flexible for rotating schedules which includes evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays (schedules are always communicated in advance).
- A valid provincial driver's licence.
