**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is directly responsible to manage the operations of the DAF unit.
**Days / hours**:
Mon - Thurs 4pm - 2:30am
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain/monitor/test/log all utility readings and deviations of the water treatment system.
- Perform daily and routine operation, preventative and breakdown maintenance of equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
- Participate in plant equipment repairs and installations
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Ensure all work performed complies with governing practices, codes and regulations, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP. WHIMS, MSDS and Sofina policy requirements.

**Requirements**:

- At minimum, a Secondary School Diploma.
- Experience working with SOPs/GMPs is considered an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning

**Recommended Qualifications**:

- Practical knowledge of the operation and maintenance of water treatment and/or distribution systems, controls and related components.
