**Position Summary**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Collections Expertise**: Demonstrated experience or ability to thoroughly understand collections procedures, including the PPSA and BIA, and stay up-to-date with industry regulations.
- **Communication**:Demonstrate strong written and oral skills and promptly notify clients of delinquency events and frequently follow-up for payments or commitments in an engaging way.
- **Legal Liaison**: Collaborate with legal counsel to initiate enforcement steps and legal actions, as required.
- **Asset Seizures**: Work closely with bailiffs to coordinate the seizure of assets in accordance with the applicable law(s).
- **Asset Disposal**: Manage asset disposals and develop exit strategies to optimize sale proceeds.
- **Advertisement**:Send out advertisements for repossessed units to potential interested parties and manage inquiries.
- **Equipment Knowledge**: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various equipment assets and their market value.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High levels of professionalism, conscientiousness, and integrity.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

**Qualifications - Preferred**:

- Experience in collections within the financial industry, with a focus on equipment and commercial assets is an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of the Canadian Personal Property Security Act (PPSA) and Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act Enforcement Act (BIA).
- Proven experience in coordinating asset seizures and managing legal proceedings.
