**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are seeking a Shop Assistant to assist with general duties on a part-time or full-time basis at our Toronto shop location located at 178 Norseman Street, Etobicoke. Duties will include:
- organizing tools, materials, and equipment;
- small equipment repairs and maintenance;
- auditing and maintenance of company vehicles and shop inventory;
- allocation and management of shop inventory;
- shipping and receiving, and courier, duties;
- maintaining shop cleanliness; and,
- any other duties as assigned.
**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- is reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated and able to work productively with mínimal supervision;
- is detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills;
- is comfortable with receiving instruction;
- has a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite products;
- working knowledge of small machine repair is an asset;
- is comfortable with using power tools;
- has a valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record;
- is comfortable driving various types of vehicles;
- has a flexible schedule with the ability to work in the afternoons; and,
- has non-skid/safety shoes.
**RATE OF PAY**
Compensation is competitive and commensurate to experience. Compensation will range between $24.00 to $28.00 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits.
